In the words of Tommy Boy...Holy Schnikes!

Really good info, there. :salute:

Great chapter on Bougainville, detailed maps and info about the RNZAF Corsairs and the RAAF Wirraway/Boomerang.

The AWM is a fantastic place to visit as well. The Zero in the Aircraft Hall is reputed to have been one of Sakai's, they have Richtofen's Spandau and flying boots. I take a look every time I'm in Canberra. and a visit to the off site storage and restoration centre is a must.

Hello Rami

If you check the posts for the Crete campaign you will find some references to the AWM site. Excellent site and museum, have visited both many times. For those doing missions or campaigns plenty of reference material, including WW1.

You can also search the photographs:-
http://www.awm.gov.au/collection/photographs/
(Search for 3 Squadron and another search for Syria)

Another link for Op Exporter:-

Keep up the great work on the Campaigns !!!!!!!
Trust and hope the family and your health are all doing well.

Regards, Seagull V
