Incredible SciFi Art

Thats a very intresting website Feng has ....I had no clue he had all that talent going on......:applause:

Mason,

That is a blog for SciFi art.

Fengs website is HUGE...

and he has had art in so many different movies its, well.. he's done a ton of that. And game design.

If I win the lottery over $10,000,000.00, I am hiring him to do some game designs!

Bill

Yea...I used a link there and went to his website..He does some amazing work...

Hmmm $10,000.000 lottery...HELLO...........:friday:

Bill, the second picture is a great illustration of the "space elevator" and "habitat ring" I mentioned in another post. The "habitat ring" rotates to produce one standard gravity.

The "space elevator" stations of course are stationary relative to the planet's rotation, and house weightless manufacturing facilities, as well as space-dock and shipyard facilities. :ernae:

Hey Bill,

Roger that.

Man, that would be a huge undertaking.. The mass alone would be incredible, but what a creation that would be.

That book 'Ringworld' was pretty intense. How one would get together that much metal for such a thing is unfathomable. You would have to take apart worlds for their ore for such a huge project.

I hope we do an elevator soon. I think its a cool concept.

(...and a lunar base, and a Mars colony, and terra form Mars.. and a Europa colony.. and.. and.. lol).

Great find Bill. :applause:

And Feng, you do awesome work. I love your website.

I'm not at all sure that FS9 or FSX either one could handle the number of polys required!

Which "Ringworld" book? There are three sequels to the original, as well as ties into numerous other books set in Known Space.

Frankly, I think "Rama" is more believable... :argue:

OTOH, I'm deeply invested in David Weber's fantastic series (13 so far) based on the career of Honor Harrington in the RMSN (Royal Manticoran Space Navy)... :applause:
