Indy Air Show 2011

Great photos from what looks like a great event!

The Avenger pictured, owned by Brad Decker, is one of the most complete/original Avengers, with all of its original military equipment throughout. It is also great seeing Mike Gillian's pristine Wildcat. The C-1 Trader, is I believe the only one currently flying in the airshow circuit. And of course 'Hot Stuff' looking better than ever!

Sadly, the Warbird turnout was rather low, as compared to past years. The Wildcat was Beautiful, my favorite, The Avenger was a War Veteran, complete with patched bullet holes. Hot Stuff calls this place home, Mount Comfort Airport.

Curtis,....nice picture taking all around. Especially the torpedo photo up in the belly of the Avenger. Looks like the 'fish' got a Du Pont-Imron paint job!
