Installing FSX for first time...

Gentlemen,

I just bought FSX Gold, and from what I gather, in order to install FSX for the first time, I need to:


1) Turn off anti-virus
2) Install FSX "outside" of the Program Files folder (i.e. C://FSX folder)
3) Run as administrator? (not sure about this step)
4) I am leaving UAC on

I have heard of issues with FSUIPC early on, but I believe the Gold version has resolved those problems?
