Installing, waiting, or sticking with 2020?

Personally, I'm going to wait a bit (a week or so) before making the jump to 2024. I figure that will give me time to learn from others' experiences and avoid the probable server troubles of everyone installing and flying at once.
It got me curious, are you installing right away, waiting a bit (like me), or is anyone just planning on staying with 2020 for the foreseeable?

Preordered it, but if y'all aren't messing with it today already, I'd wait for tomorrow, or at least this evening. Loading is taking close to an hour, even after initial install. I got a CTD trying to set up my Tobii Eye tracker and on my attempt to reload it I've been looking at this for 10 minutes now, after a 45 minute wait to get this far:

I think it's just the servers are a disaster today because everyone's trying to load/install at once. Rocky start. Betting after a day or two it'll be much less frustrating.

Guess I'm going to be waiting. MS servers are totally getting hammered. You would think MS would by now would have figured out how to have a smooth launch. Sigh..... Back to relaxing, baling some more hay in farming sim 25.

I was late to 2020 as it was, so no reason at this point to move up "again". I'm only just getting used to 2020 and enjoying it more every day and like "Penzoil3" I've invested enough for the time being and happy where I am.

After seeing what's going on with the launch today, I'm happy I decided to wait. Think I'll give it a couple of weeks. Besides, that works better in my work travel schedule.

Sticking to 2020. Too much invested.
Most addons are supposed to be functional in 24, but I'd check with the dev's to be sure.

As for me, I'm in the middle of an 11-day week that's likely to end with 90+ hours worked, so I'm waiting at least a couple of weekends. I may fly a couple of hours this coming weekend, but my primary goal is to catch up on sleep!

Keep waiting! I just tried to get in and got a notice that there were too many people on the server and had to ctrl-alt-del to get out from that message.

I finally got in a couple of times. It's sooooo smooth in both VR and pancake mode. Was nice to in VR over LAX with air traffic enabled and not have it turn into a slideshow like FS2020 does.

Definitely some buggy aspects (couldn't interact with the sim tablet in VR when flying the Cirrus jet), but overall, once you finally get it it's a wow. And I've only tackled free flight, and briefly enjoyed being the world's fastest in the Grand Canyon race:
