Just a HU for all the scenery geeks, there's a new version of Instant Scenery just released. Upgrade pricing for those who own v1 and free upgrade for those that might have purchased IS1 this year. IMHO, the ability to set up Favorite objects is worth the upgrade!

I use instant scenery for all my scenery projects and wouldn't be without it really. I won't buy this tho, only because there's not much there (in the new features) that I feel I just can't live without. I think if you're just starting with IS those features might be more attractive than to someone who has used it for a long time.

I had the original bought for me a couple of years ago when I was working on an airfield remake for a buddy. I have barely used it since I got it as I found it much easier to place objects in ADE9X so I will pass on the upgrade too.

I was on the beta team for IS2, and in the beginning I wasn't sold on the move from slew-oriented placement to using the mouse. Now that they've got it ironed out and I've had time to get accustomed to it, it's radically faster to place objects IMO. I had a Plum Island fan ask me if I could compile a placement file that left out the objects on the runway and the trees around the field, and using IS2 I was able to make the mods in a couple of minutes.

All in all, I like the new functionality. One thing I haven't done much of yet is placing rows of objects, but once I'm back from vacation, I'm going to try that out.

Thanks Paul, tried that once maybe I need to try it again a few times, even downloaded a replacement key but the stupid thing keeps telling me it is invalid My_Name-flt1iscen1.key, it wants My_Name-flt1iscen2.key.

No problems for me with discount and install of IS2. Im having a blast with the new mouse feature.

I upgraded from v1 to v2 . All seems of,but I have no thumbnails. Anyone have a clue what happend ? Or how to fix it .
