Here is a interesting article about a man who took some photos of the bombing of Hiroshima that were denied. Seemed no one informed the crew to steer clear of Hiroshima on that day. One makes you wonder why the 20th didn't send a memo out to all the AAF and Navy not to have any a/c in the area. Another thing (I assume) that this 4th 29 was coming in from the north and that they had no idea about the flash, if it blinded the crew? He also said that one of the crew members seen another 29 (Enola Gay maybe) hdg out to sea, i wonder if any of the crew from this 29 seen his a/c. Its still great to hear about this little tidbit from that day that we might have never known.
