I found it weird they wanted to protest and not initially allow the Osprey, but how many F-15's have we lost out of Kadena???
 
That's what we have to live with when we give back what we already paid for in blood. We should have kept Iwo Jima, and Okinawa too for that matter. Ever since we gave Okinawa back in 1971 the local Japanese have done nothing but bitch and moan about the air operations and our military presence in general, but they're happy to take our money.
 
I'd let the Japanese have the bases, tell them they're on their own and move it all to Guam.
 
Argh!!! Don't do that - it's already top-heavy - any more and it will tip over!
