Hi John,
Saw that you made it into an on-line CFS3 Game, good man. Plenty of fun to be had, good comrades and helpers too.
Getting high scores in these on-line games is everything, this leads to some behavoural traits,outlined, thus:-
A "Vulcher" is a CFS3 and add-ons on-Line flyer who waits for game enemies to be badly shot-up, then dives in and steals the original "Killers" Kill, thereby inflating his score of kills in each game. He doesn't need to do this ,but enjoys it.
The Term:--"Cheating rat /Vulcher /thief-no-good, scoundrelous so and so" is a term applied by those pilots sorely offended by these actions.
Some pilots carry out this heinious pastime against other pilots blatantly and without discrimination, whilst other low life scrounging winnets do the same and pretend they didn't, these comprise the other 99% of CFS3 pilots :ernae: of whom, I may have succumbed to temptation in the heat of battle on the very odd occasion. :d These pilots are known as "Sneaks / Sneaky / Sneak-Thief "
. Every one gets shot down more than he likes but learns the benefits of eating a diet laced with grass / dirt / and parts of trees, this mixes well with the swimming capabilities needed also when combat is over water.
The Terms---DOS---Stands for Devils own Squadron and is based on a WW2 unit .
The BLack Sheep Men are mainly in USA and follow the efforts of the Famous Black Sheep Squadron in the Pacific Solomons Islands Campaign theatre of WW2.
The RCAF are of course Royal Canadian Air Force orientated, whilst the RAF named pilots represent most of us from Europe and UK.
So now you know what is what when reading the CFS3 threads here on SOH----LOL
