• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I would certainly say so, absolutely. It's a most impressive addon. I had a long NAV flight with it yesterday and there is very little that I miss from that VC. Great FPS throughout and lovely modelling/texturing. The aircraft is of course a compromise as the basic model only portrays a GE engined big mouth block 50 but the usability and FPS frendlieness makes up for that. There are of course different national differences among the models and also stores configs. Overall, I spend most of my time in FSX in this aircraft these days, and the freeware Mirage 2000 off course.

Well, I would LOVE to buy the IRIS F-16 but it seems that they deleted my forum account and they don't answer any e-mail since month!!!!
Without having the possibility to get support from their website, a purchase doesn't make sense :mad:
Not even the extremely supporting and nice SOH forum staff could help me!

Hi Bernt!

I had to make a new account in August this year because they had some problem with their forums earlier. I had no problems with support from their forums as long as you can provide a receipt for the product you have bought from them. Head over there and make a new account and go buy their awesome bird :jump:
 
I tried that as well a few weeks ago. The last (automated) response was: Your account will be actived within the next few hrs. If not e-mail us.
Did that and I never got any reply again....

Hi,

They look all great. Make sure you match the camo pattern on the CFTs and the avionics spine with the rest of the airframe before releasing.

heres a nice tip for camo.... if all the pieces are the same size/scale draw it all 'hard-edged' check it lines up, then just gaussian blur the camo layer ;) keep it lined up without fiddling about as much :wavey:
