IRIS Forums Hacked...grrr

it does not seem that I can log in any more, it does not recognise my username/email anymore, could you reset my password and that and send me the info at allplease? admin (at) aussiex.org
 
It was probably the Chinesse. They did an internet search with military hardware words like F-14, F-16, updated..... and your site popped up so they clobbered it thinking they got the pentagon.

At least that is my completely baseless accusation and I'm sticking with it. :ernae:
 
David, sorry to hear ya going through this mess. Avsim,SOH and your site....seems someone has it in for flight simmers. It's sad in this day and time that these tirds that get there rocks off by destroying something can't use there talent for something to improve themselves. Until our laws take a strong stance with long prison time for these a-holes this will continue.
 
Didn't a number of rather high profile Flight Sim related pirate sites get shut down by the authorities recently?

I've no evidence whatsoever to support this but it seems a logical avenue to explore.
 
Anyone who causes this sort of thing really is sad. This is pointless destruction of a completely harmless and innocent activity which brings enjoyment to lots of people, but this seems to cause some people a problem. Hey David. . .well, thanks to a simple question from Henry (what browser are you using?) I opted to try IE and low and behold, everything works fine. I have no idea why Firefox would suddenly go haywire on me, but it has. Thanks Henry:salute:
 
Hey Smudge - the posse needs some air cover. I'm sure there are some F-16D drivers here that would be willing provide the service. And, if you want to make some seriously big holes in the ground, one or two Vulcans wold be useful. :salute:

Guys, this thread is old, if you read back you'll see it's dated back to June. Roger's post got inserted into the wrong thread (possibly too much Christmas spirit? J/K :d).

ok i'll go dig the L97 and AW50F out of the Armoury, any of you experienced on 1 km shots with a .50? :icon_lol: failing that you can just spot for me :icon_lol: one thing i like... Hacker hunting season never closes :ernae: lets get the motor (and horse) pool fired up get locked, loaded and ready and take the war to their doorstep :icon_lol:
