IRIS MiG-29 experiments & question

Bloomin lovely. Especially the Polish Skins. I look forward too flying a MiG 29 that I haven't painted.

Cheers mate :encouragement:
I'm still thinking about refining the weathering, but got bored on it and enjoying putting some colors on liveries. We shall see a first batch release within days, I'll see for refining later.

Finally I couldn't resist on a soviet vintage scheme, here is the Bort 58 of the VVS Swifts early colors :biggrin-new:

Did you improve the VC textures as well?

Priller

Well the VC is somewhat basic and adapted photo/texture would not fit in the cockpit as it's shape differs a lot compared to the real one. Will see what I can do when I finish the scheduled liveries.

I shall upload all the previous liveries within days from now

Very nice. I am really looking forward to these new repaints.

Can I make a small request?
Could you please upload these textures in 32bit format instead of DXT3 or DXT1.
It would be a pity to loose the small details due to the texture compression

It's gonna be indeed 32bit format !!:victorious:
Since I discovered 32 bit with the SU-25, I didn't go back to DXT3 !!

I fully agree :biggrin-new: :encouragement:

Thanks you Huub & jamminjames ! Much encouraging words :ernaehrung004:
David Brice did a fine job with this Fulcrum, the model is flawless and mapping is almost perfect (no distortions or tricky parts) which makes it really easy to work with textures. (Plus the original paintkit was provided with the exact "meshed" layer, saving hours - literally - of work to dig the exact shape of the textured parts)

I slightly tweaked the mdl to obtain a better reflection of the canopy and overall airframe.

Exploring weathering at the time, many "try & see".
Will post WIP tonight

Cheers

Very nice weathering! You make it realistic, lots of painters put too much dirt and dirt/stains in the wrong area
