I found my water rudder command had somehow been cleared. Reassinged, and it's now extending / retracting ok.
But the reheat is buggered for both naval and air force models. I looked into my aircraft cfg and found the afterburner available line was =0. So I fixed that ...
[TurbineEngineData]
fuel_flow_gain= 0.01
inlet_area= 11.80
rated_N2_rpm= 29920.00
static_thrust= 19400.00
afterburner_available= 1
reverser_available= 0.0
... still AB on all the time. Here is my light section:
[lights]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
//----------Effects
light.0 = 9, -11, 2.80, -.4, fx_mig_aniburner //----Afterburner
light.1 = 9, -11, -2.80, -.4, fx_mig_aniburner //----Afterburner
light.2 = 9, -15, 2.80, -1.3, fx_migflame //----Afterburner
light.3 = 9, -15, -2.80, -1.3, fx_migflame //----Afterburner
//light.4 = 8, -11, -18.0, 0.00, fx_mig_vortex //----Vortex
//light.5 = 8, -11, 18.0, 0.00, fx_mig_vortex //----Vortex
//-------Lighting
light.6 = 4, 14, 0.00, 3.00, fx_dsb_vclight_green //--Cockpit Light
light.7 = 3, -9.5, -18.20, 0.00, fx_navred //----Wing Light
light.8 = 3, -9.5, 18.20, 0.00, fx_navgre //----Wing Light
light.9 = 1, -19.2, -6.00, 7.50, fx_navwhi //----Tail Anti Collision (White)
light.10 = 1, -19.2, -6.00, 7.50, fx_strobe //----Tail Anti Collision (White)
I've tried every combination of commenting out either light 0 and 1, as well as not commenting out at all (as is now shown) - still get AB on all the time.
Notably, if I turn lights off, (L), and then manually turn on the lights in the cockpit, then I get no AB effect, not even on 100% throttle. But if I hit L (off) and L (on), then all lights and AB comes on ...
thoughts?
thanks,
