Iris Mig29 in fsx thread

Hi, i tried to search for an older thread discussing how to get the IRIS mig 29 into FSX but i cannot find it? Can anyone point me to it or can any of the contributors to the thread update me if there are any progress in the work of bringing the MIG 29 into fsx? (If you remember the thread ofcourse :jump:)

The IRIS Mig-29, if I remember correctly, has a major transparency issue that prevents its usage in FSX. I think it was a mirror effect when lights are turned on...

The glass fixes were in the thread, but the issue of non-working gauges was never resolved.

I've tried to re-gauge the VC but gave up after a while since I simply couldn't find any suitable freeware gauges.

AlphaSim FS9 SU33

There was a thread (not too long ago) about an aircraft similar to the Mig 29....the SU33. The FS9 SU33 from AlphaSim appears to work OK in FSX with some minor tweaks. This may satisfy your need for a Mig 29. (I haven't tried it, but I've been meaning to...!)
