There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.
If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.
Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

It's still a beta product so officially, it's not finished yet. Plus, were not allowed to give support outside of irissimulations forum, so please visit there for support. Also, we're not allwed to give support concerning alteration of the package, this has some legal agenda to it, I dunno the full story, but one thing I recommend is reading the EULA, which states, if you change anything in the product your invalid for support.
Anywho, I've rambled on....but whatever FDE is produced at the end of production will be a very well represented one of the real aircraft.
Just hang tight for the mean time.
Cheers, Dougie
Correction please. its still an Alpha product. it hasnt been introduced into beta yet.. the current fde released with the teaser is a very early fde. it has since then, gone through several revisions and i'm not happy yet ( which means i will be tightening it up till it's right ). I would ask your kind indulgence and patience as i hammer the fde closer to home. The JFTC team, as we did with the F-14, the Vulcan, and several others, will guarantee that to the best of our ability to build this thing, you will have an enjoyable flying experience when it's done.
That said.. There are limitations that i must subscribe too. limitations set up by the community itself. One such limitation is in regards to the throttle. There are several ways i can go with that throttle. i can make it so you have to adjust your control axis settings, because throttle in a turbo prop does not control the engine rpm, it controls the prop, but that didnt seem like a good way to go. i can also easily duplicate the functions of the throttle in the fde. however, that would place the idle setting in your throttles, somewhere around 20% of the full range of motion above where everyone is accustomed to having it. i wont do these things, because for the five or six of us who would really get off on it, there would be thousands left wondering what was up.. I'm limited by the communities needs.
All i can ask, is your patience, and that you stay tuned. JFTC does two things, Flight dynamics and testing, and we do them very well, but those are all we do, because we want you to have the very best we can possibly deliver, irregardless of the rest of the plane.
Always yours

Does anyone know how to bring the default airbus vc to the C-27 by chance please? Just want to give her a temp fix until her completion from the Iris Team.
If it is a FSX pure plane then you can copy over the Interior.mdl to the Model folder of the c-27, then open the cfg and add the Interior=name of model. Just look at another plane with a vc model you'll see. Also you have to copy over all the texture files to the texture folder other wise the VC will be black
so> Copy and paste the VC model of the airbus into the model folder of the c-27, edit the .cfg to include the interior. (reference a working model to truly understand) Then copy and paste all the VC textures from the Airbus, into the texture folder of the c-27 you want to use. Enjoy!
