IRIS T-6 repaints?

Nice looking repaints, but please keep this post on topic which are the T-6B and AT-6B and not the PC-9 or Super Tucano.

Latest news from the real world regarding the AT-6B VS Super Tucano is that the later has won the Light Air Support contract paid by the US for delivery to the Afghan Air Force. The Super Tucano is beginning to build up a rather large user base.

What do you think?

I would say they probably selected the best aircraft, the Super Tucano was build from the start as an light attack aircraft and has matured very well in this role. The AT-6 was, even if it still is an impressive light attack aircraft, build from a trainer and has less power, lower top speed and far lower max takeoff weight.

Well, let's get back to our FS world. Is it possible to use this great texture by Mr.John Detricks with the AT-6 model? I mean, will it need to add more textures of pylons and tanks?

The weapon loadout jsut looks so terrible wrong on the AT-6 that I'm personaly not using it. Have you ever seen AIM-9 used straight on a store pylon without an Launch rail....no.. the same goes for the ACMI pod, and why do you want that on a CAS aircraft in the first place... I'm sticking with the drop tank and clean loudouts.

Indeed, just pylons and tanks will do. I think they should have rocket pods instead of AIM-9and ACMI.

Often seen on publicity shots are tanks, 50 cal gunpods and a combination of GBU-12 size bomb and/or Hellfire/DAGR type guided 70mm rockets.

Thank you!

And finally; the Beechcraft T-6C demonstrator N3000B:
