• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

I'm not sure what we can do with MSFS content so I thought I would ask. If the airplane actually existed it would most likely be flown by autopilot above M=2.5 or 3. I can fly it OK, but I have to fly the trim at top speed. I'll also have to see if the flight controls can be coded in such a way that over 2.5 the JS becomes a rate controller. I would tie it to the autopilot such that neutral would keep it level and on heading. Pitch up and pitch down would be Vs rate inputs, such that max deflection would equal max rate for a given speed. Using just the JS in bank would change the AP heading. That would be my ultimate goal anyway. It would also allow for more crisp handling (Better responsiveness) at low speeds, instead of behaving like a cruise ship in the pattern.
