    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Is there a tutorial on the effects.xml file?

I find a few of the effects lacking, and am interested in creating some new ones. Unfortunately, I can find very little information on the various parameters in the effects.xml file. Does someone want to share their knowledge, please?
 
I have this on my HD. I don't know who wrote it but it wasn't me. Maybe it is of some help.

Also in the Aircraft and Vehicle SDK is an excel spreadsheet with a very useful summary of all the effect types. That way, when making a new effect you can decide whether to make it a track effect, use a decal, or whatever.
