Hi all so I went and bought the Virtavia F3H for FSX\A over the weekend & it looks and fly's great....except the 'clean' model which looks as if someone's not modeled any glass in the canopy does anybody else own this or have a fix for this?? I've looked it doesn't look like a texture issue.

It's a known issue mate. I got on to Virtavia a while back and Phil was apologetic saying they no longer have the source files for it. You'll also notice the landing gear coming up through the wing top when it's extending and retracting!! You can still use that paint on one of the other models though;)

It is what Dave says, I also contacted Virtavia 2 years ago and got the same answer.
There is a simple work around: Swap the broken FSX mdl file with the FS9 mdl. These older models are so light on frame rates that I do not notice a difference.

Thanks guys I'll make do with the other three models that's no bother I've been too busy with photoshop anyway..

That paint suits the Demon very well:encouragement:

As I said mate.. the Top Hatters paint will fit the other 3 'closed top' models. Good idea to use the FS9 version Henk;)

I've never had FS9 installed on this rig (it's on my WinXP rig) otherwise I might have given that a shot. Nice to know there's another option:encouragement:

Thanks Dave, My stab at one of the Prototypes/Development A/C stationed at Patuxent River NAS during the mid 50's. It's not accurate model wise but it still wears it well. going to try a couple more for the F4D and Cutlass but the Cutlass Paintkit isn't that great, we'll see how it turns out.
