• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I didn't do it, I swear! It just blew! There I was, minding my own business, trying to take pictures of this beautiful New Zealand Navy SBD, when it started smoking!

I could have swore I picked the "Easy Flight Model" for the barely competent pilots of the "FSX AI Squadron" to fly, but maybe not... And in truth she started smoking on the runway before take off.

What is pretty darned funny if you ask me is that the smoke puffs pouring from the plane do not pause when you pause the sim. They keep drifting forward, so that after a while you can pretend it's a flak barrage!
 
Definitely looks like flak, you sure that isn't over occupied territory Paul?
 
Well, thats Guadalcanal over yonder, and we're over "Iron Bottom Sound", so I guess Admiral Turner's boys were a little trigger happy. Have to get them the latest aircraft recognition books! :icon_lol:
