It's COLD!

And its a balmy 21 degrees F here in tropical North FLA this A.M. ... with the winds we have feels like temps of 10 - 15F.

Now this is my kind of weather. Just this morning, I decided to break out the flannel over shirt.

Projected High for today is 43-44 degrees. If we're lucky says the weatherman, we'll hit 45. LOL.

YeeHaw!

I'll be wearing shorts today! 45º Low/ 64º High in Denver today

.... We are colder here in Sunshine State Brrr...

29ºƒ low (at 7:14 am)
50ºƒ high

I am bundling up....
it is not even winter yet!
I covered the plants outside...
the coldest we have ... so far!

... Reporting live from Orlando!

It's currently 7:55 am and 30° outside in Lake Placid, Florida ........
Ain't belong to get this cold here! I gots ice in the bird bath.
Hey ........... This here is Florida!...........

Was 5ºf here in southern WV this morning, a balmy 16ºf currently.
Only a few inches of snow though, not enough to try out my snow blower.
This is the sort of weather we had in the mid 70s here, had some realy nasty january and febuary weather back then with lots of snow and sub 0 temps throughout both months.

It's only 78 here. The weather man say's it will cool down to the mid 60's next week. I used to live where it gets cold, I miss it, SOMETIMES.:mixedsmi:

25 with ice supposed to fall out of the sky tonite. Guess that beats freezing rain.

Just got back in from feeding the horses and told my dog Sassy that my nose is colder than her's for once.

Just think, in one more week it'll be finally be winter.

Had to make more runs today....roads were better, it's still cold and way windy! When I got to BestBuy to pick up a couple copies of Dispicible Me, I went to open the door on my minivan...the wind was blowing so hard that it ripped the door handle out of my grasp, flung the door wide open with enough force to shift the door on its hinges. Now the leading edge of the door catches on the trailing edge of the finder. The finder is bent in from me having to force the door open so I could get back into the van. No big deal...just have to loosen the door, slide it back, loosen the finder and swing it out and pull it back into shape. Then put the door back into its proper place and tighten it down the put the finder back in place and properly gapped. Good thing I am the son of a body man and spent many an hour in dusty body shops working on wrecked cars with him.

We have 13F this morning with w/c of -6F. I REALLY don't want to go to outside today!!!

I forgot to check the weather before going cross country skiing today. It was hard to move into the wind. At least the wind direction meant there were some nice fly overs (747 flew by just in front as I drove in).

Today, here in "Sunny" Mansfield, Ohio, the temp was 11 degrees as the high, with wind chill of -6. And it's not even winter yet! Tonight the temps are expected to drop well into the single digit range with wind chill of -20. I had to go out and about today in the 20 to 35mph winds, blowing snow and bitter cold. The dogs were out of cookies...and you'd be amazed at how violent an 8 pound and a 12 pound dog can get after being drug outside in the freezing cold, to walk around on ice, and trying to pee into 20 mph winds..then be brought inside and be told that they have no cookies.

At one point Hazel, the 8 pound Chihuahua with the mentality of a Boxer/Lab mix, stood up on her hind legs, looked me in the eyes and said "Wad do yu meen we don't git a cukee? Yu made me go outside in da freekin cold, freeze me liddle feets off....and I get no cukkee? Yu want your ankles torn off fat man? And beesides, the cat doesn't hav to go out in da cold....no, his fat furry butt has a box in the tostee warm closet he gets to go potty in. Yu bedder go git some cukees or else!"

So out into the cold I go, fearful of what might happen if I drag the dogs outside for even a single potty break without the reward of a crunchy cheeze flavored cookie afterward.

Hahaha, loved your interpretation of your Chihuahua's barking. If you read it out aloud in a pommy, London working class accent it sounds really funny! :ernae: :jump:

Froze the fur on my feet yesterday during my walk..
Ohio is not suppose to be this cold this early..
Single digits before christmas, NOT NICE...

May have to grow a longer beard this winter, to wrap around my feet..
Off to hug my Kat to get warm...
Here Kitty, Kitty...

Cold Spell

Having a cold snap here. It will be a high of 61* F today, and 63* F tomorrow.
I remember snow, it may rain here, but we don't have to shovel it...
LOL

When I lived in South Florida, I had a coat and gloves on at 60 degrees! LOL! That's tee-shirt weather now! It all depends what one gets acclimated to.

Man, it's so cold I preheated my oven at 450° to cook a frozen pizza. Know what I got?

Frozen pizza!

Freezing rain and ice pellets here now, brrrrr!
