It's got hooks... big and small!

We're moving ahead on this one a bit faster than thought! Though the model is unfinished yet, and we're on overkill in terms of polys, this will all be dropped down to normal maps so that we can keep the details...

We will be doing at least two pods: one medical and one transport

The S-64 is being tweaked as we speak and will have all the details added including the water hose! (though how we're going to do the forest fires is beyond me at this time) (HELP???!!!)

Missions will definitely be included on this one!

Comments and crits welcome...

(Please don't worry, Corsair is in alpha flight testing now and beta testers will be contacted at the appropriate time (soon, very soon indeed!))

Looks great! Looking forward to it!

Dont worry, creating fires (and extinguishing them) is relatively easy with missions.

What a beauty, if ya are ever looking for a beta tester Ill volunteer on that baby.

Greg took the WOW right outta my mouth....but it bears repeating, "WOW" !!

p.s. saw a spot on this on the Military channel the other evening....very expensive bird to operate per hour and a thirsty one to-boot, but it will get
the heavy lifting done !

there is a pretty good multi-stage forest fire mission called "Oregan Ablaze" at FSXMissions.com you might wanna give it a look see for some ideas -
the skycrane is looking... well . very pimp !

As much as I drool over the mesh here and know that FSX can handle more detail than FS9, I can't help but cringe at the thought of what my FPS would be with this masterpiece of mesh, LOL

Lovely detail though!

Lovely detail though!

We WILL be taking it down a notch... build it high and nice and then bake all that wonderful detail in and then, get rid of the extra polys...

it'll be flyable... i promise...
