Man check it out John, the whole stinking crew is around here, lol
...Its like waiting for Mathias to put a prop on the old Stringbag, been waiting over 3 years for that too!!:bump:

The prodigals return?? They've probably never been away...

And I shouldn't be surprised if some of the unfinished models have passed into other hands for finishing. Quite a lot of that going on these days, just hope some hands are not overloaded!

Hey dancat. good to see you back. Do you still work on the Luftwaffe secret weapons or jets. There were pics a whle back, but I guess real life got in way. Any news on those if they would be released in near future? thx.

oh yeah, still tinker with the models now and again.
worked on another HO-229 all week about 2 weeks back.
still need to cut the rear gear doors and do the rudders....and wing spoilers, and ......well I guess there's a lot to do still.
this week I've been doing the vc on the Dora I started about a year ago I guess.
lately it's been hours and hours in photoshop just to go into the sim and realize that all that detail you just worked on is over looked when dog fighting....
oh well, it's still fun!
no release date for anything yet but I could probably release a beta Dora this week if anyone wants.

Dancat,we all would love the Dora, and anything else you have lying around!,thanks for bringing these great models to CFS3.

Man check it out John, the whole stinking crew is around here, lol Good to see you back here Luca, its been a while! How's Pietro doing these days?

crossram shows up, Mathias has been around, it looks like the old days again. So, the Ta is in John's hands eh? I saw a beta of that a long time ago!! I wonder if John will finally get that special skin for it I asked him for, say about 3 years ago!LOL Its like waiting for Mathias to put a prop on the old Stringbag, been waiting over 3 years for that too!!:bump:
Good isn't it Scott?:mixedsmi:
Luca has done some extra work on his old models, which I'm very greatful about, still need finishing, but he's passed three of them onto me, and all I can say is they are three fantastic models, well I've only seen two first hand, but you can be sure the Ta will be top notch!

I'm still hoping Mat comes through with you know what?:d Also with Greg finishing the Me 323, it really does feel like MAW again!:icon_lol:

I can feel some desert screenshots coming on!!

Oh yea, that special skin, you are a very patient man my friend! It will happen, one day!:d

BTW the MAW Baltimore is ready to go!

Well John, I've nothing else to do except wait, lol That Baltimore, that wasn't a model started by Hugh was it? That's one guy I wish would stop by and let us know how he is doing!

No Scott, Hugh, has done a Bristol Beaufort, he got back in touch a few months ago, he did say he will complete it, but not heard much since?

If Hugh is in touch again, tell him a Beaufort would be very welcome as a MAW add-on (and for SEAC use, were that possible!)

Glad to hear he is doing ok John! Was worried about him for a while.

Before you start putting up pics of the Baltimore with all those roundels on them, I'll get you first with this pic from SF2 WoI!!! Enjoy!!:d

Oh I see you have SF2 running Scott, nice!

Here's a shot of the upcoming Baltimore, threre will be a MK II and a MK III.
The MK III has a MKIIIa skin on it, a IIIA was planned, but Steve lost the source in a HD crash, so we have what we have! The skin is staying even though it's not historically accurate!
The model is quite a few years old now, so are the skins, I could have re-done them, but I still think they hold up well with todays standards, the model work is excellent!
I'll be sending to Greg, so they should be released pretty soon!

I've also posted shots of three of Luca's old MAW models, that will be released in the future, we have a BF109F2 and F4, plus a Ju 87D, all textures are mine! This was some of the last work me and Luca did before MAW disbanded. Again, model work is fantastic!
There is more, but I'm saving that for later!

Then we have a in-game shot of Greg's MAW Me 323, which is being worked on at the moment, another outstanding piece of work, seeing as all these models are years old!

Hmmmmm, where did this come from? Kind of looks like John is my crew chief, and is not finishing the job!! I have to get in the air John, so slap this thing back together, will ya!!

Great stuff, John! That Baltimore is a beautiful aircraft. I've been meaning to ask you if you wanted to knock out a SAAF skin for it, BTW - I've got a fair bit of documentation about it, but the bottom line is little more than swopping the roundels and serial.

Can't wait for that 109! Do you have access to the source file, too? With very little extra work, it could fill a major gap, namely the G-2/G-4 versions.
