If you Don't know, just google him.

This really isn't off topic
I remember the opening credits of Rocketeer, in 1991. It was the first movie that just Dad and I went to see, in the theaters. I thought that was pretty cool, I was 4! During those opening credits, the GeeBee rolls out, and Horner was the composer of that timeless piece of music. From that moment I was hooked on not only aviation, but air racing. Thanks Mr. Horner! You are already missed.

One of my favorite pieces of redux to the original;

Thanks for posting that. Another Cessna classic. Makes me want to get out my old Alpha Sim FS9 version and try for a FSX port-over. I already have an AI version flying in my FSX install. My first cousin owns a 170. I have some solo time in it. Flies beautifully.

As someone stated elsewhere, this has been another day the music has died. Such a tremendous legacy.

This was just one of the short films from the height of the AirShowBuzz/Horsemen days. "Write Your Soul..."

Aliens is a movie favorite of mine and his score still gives me chills. (I guess Sulaco's two dropships would qualify as aviation related).

Flight Sim imitates real life..

In keeping with the theme of the Cessna 170 in the video....

Here's a screen shot of Alpha Sim's Cessna 170 sitting under a hanger on a private grass strip. I modeled this after my cousin's grass strip. I painted the 170 to be representative of his.
