Anyone know of one that might work in my WWII FS9? Captain Kurt's Kate flies great in FS9.

There are several good ones, however, they went "off limits" when FS.com shut down.
Some one will probably "convo" you. I'd like to help but the install package is fairly large and I'm pretty sure I can't share it here.

Stoney, THAT's the download. It is WELL WORTH your time to do the full install.
I'm not going to ruin why, you just need to experience Yoshi's carriers.
I was working with zwobbie to bring this package here, but we couldn't do it without violating the forum rules.

Most of CFS2 ships and carriers work in FS9 with adapted air und cfg files. And in the ressources you will find several of them.

Another good source for things nautical is the FoxFour CFS2 Korean War site, especially CG's Shipyard. HMS Ocean can stand in for the early Collossus-class carriers very nicely.

doing a generic search for 'Imperial Japanese Navy' under the category FS2004 https://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1&keywords=imperial+japanese+navy&categoryId=31 certainly helps
