No Pics on this time. My hands were firmly on the controls for the entire flight. Almost as soon as I took off and headed up to the Sierra crest I encountered strong gusting headwinds. I popped over the soft 10K ceiling at Ellery Lake, crossed Tioga Pass, then down the Dana Fork to Tuolumne Meadows (and back down below 9K), past Tanya Lake and Clouds Rest and then the rain hit as well as a steady 20knt headwind. I dropped down lower but it was wind in my face all the way to Mariposa. Whew! Glad that one is behind me.

Normal flight until I was on short final when a heard a buzzing sound and the screen went dark. Uh Oh, that doesn't sound good. I could still hear flightsim running and then 2 seconds later the screen comes back with a error splash screen saying the NVidia driver has stopped, but FSX is still running, although it is in slide show mode. I am able to land and stop with the green duenna. And we're all done. Whew!!

This event was terrific fun. It reminded me how good the Orbx scenery is and what a thirsty bird the Centurion is. I'm gonna bet that no other single consumes as much fuel.
