As long as I understand this thread and it's fellow "special repainter's", all the free repaints uploaded so far will not fit with this update...

No, they seem to fit fine, but I haven't checked every tiny detail.

add a texture CFG to your texture.Apache folder

[fltsim]

fallback.1=..\texture
fallback.2=..\texture.SAAT_MOD
fallback.3=..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture
fallback.4=..\..\..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture

I named the SAAT_MOD because I want the Modern Cockpit

I checked the texture file for a cfg and there was none so I added these:

[fltsim]
fallback.1=..\texture
fallback.2=..\texture.SAAT
fallback.3=..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture
fallback.4=..\..\..\..\..\..\Scenery\Global\texture

I prefer the old style panel:engel016:

Sorry if anything went amiss with the textures. I haven't uploaded any work in eons. The instructions stated to copy all files from the texture.SAAT into the texture.Apache folder without overwriting anything in that folder. That should have provided all the remaining textures along with the texture.cfg. I didn't feel comfortable uploading default payware textures so the texture.Apache folder only contains the textures I did. Thus the copying routine. Different panels can of course be accomplished as mentioned above.

You're dead right Bob. I missed that part of the install instructions...my bad:applause:
 
Need some help. Regardless of what I am painting I cannot fix this problem. Need someone to point me in the right direction to the correct template.

Pat, both these areas are located on the Dove_ExteriorD_t texture. I have noted on the attached screenshots where they are. Beware that the texture mapping for the Dove 8 underside rear differs from the earlier Doves, as I found out when transferring the Hawker Siddeley scheme from G-ANMJ to Dove 8 G-ARHW! Hope this helps.

Thanks Peter that is very helpful. But I notice from your screenshots that your paintkit is different to the one that came with the Dove package. Or is it the paint programme you use?
