Thanks Pat , I know off one who did fly Air New Guinea and the TAA many years ago then went to QANTAS .. be an ideal aircraft up in the mid tropic region.

Been flying this a bit. Aileron latency? I turn the yoke, and the aileron roll starts a full second later. Is this normal? The latency of response make landings challenging to say the least. Also, no yoke centering when you press #5 on the keypad. Rudder response and centering is OK. In fact, everything else seems just fine.

Working on Skyteam Freighter D-ACCS repaint. Okay it is a very special one. But it seems there is no solution out with belly antenna mapping with current models. Perhaps an idea for a fix.

Anyway, over all it is a nice plane.

I can tell you Tomas , I have said the word before in a previous post , 'STRIKING !' you have done a brilliant job on that ... antenna ... hells only there to hang you washing on :encouragement:

Seriously I'm sure you will get an answer for the antenna.

I do not experience as much latency as you seem to do, but the latency I have seems realistic to me. I think that many FS pales have ailerons that are too effective, especially at very low speeds,, and with large aircraft.

Rotating spinner textures?

Hi guys!

Being a friend of 'hybrid livery' and other oddball paintings, I've chosen the 1980 transitional scheme of Air Anglia's/AirUK's G-BAKL for my next release.
Here's the real deal:
http://www.airliners.net/photo/Air-...04942/L/&sid=51228169201e69f6dd14d6098a0d9e89

Although the JF package comes with either Anglia and AirUK versions, I've not just pasted them together but built a complete new livery from scratch with a slightly different shade of orange and a new hand made AirUK logo on the fin (letters outlined for this version).
But now I run into a serious problem with the prop spinners:
The textures for the static spinner isn't too hard to find, but where does the rotating spinner takes its textures from?

See?
Once the engine spools up, this crazy chameleon spinner turns from orange to grey.

Of course I've tried to locate the rotaing spinner textures by marking several dubious areas on the map:

but no success.

Any ideas?
Or is this also an item for the service pack announced?

Thanks in advance,
Markus.

Rotating spinner textures

Sorry for bothering - I've finally figured it out:

Here's where both spinner's texture is picked from:

Actually it was Marcel's colourful map posted here
http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforu...!-(29th-April)&p=954096&viewfull=1#post954096
which lead me the way to the right file. Thanks for that, mate!
It's a quite neat idea to place the spinning spinner's textures in a different file than the static ones...

Interestingly enough, the stock Air Anglia livery included in the JF package shows those chameleon spinners as well.

Cheers,
Markus.
