JF FSX Avro Vulcan textures v. Vulcan FS9 textures

Having installed the FSX JF Avro Vulcan some time ago I have noted there are a number of textures that can be downloaded for the FS9 Vulcan from JF as well. Does anyone know if the FS9 textures can be added to the FSX version of the Vulcan?
 
IIRC no but there's no reason why you can't give it a try.
The FS9 Vulcan is quite ancient but you won't know if you don't try, and worst case scenario would be a repaint that doesn't load.
