Has anyone else had this?, this was a problem that seems to have come over to my new laptop. Upon start up the radio doesn't want to work and neither does the GPS (Both that come with the aircraft and the default FSX). Has anyone else had this problem?, I am running FSXSE on Windows 11. I did email Justflight about this but they were not helpful at all.

Special Server Maintenance
Just when you think you have everything running some what better...
You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.
- November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
- November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
- November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
- November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.
If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.
To keep you updated Tom Clayton has offered to post updates on AVSIM forums.

perhaps also consider re-installing / updating legacy DirectX 9.0c runtimes https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 that may not necessarily be installed by default in your Win 11 setup
and making sure your Visual C++ runtimes are up-to-date https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170 - as you are on Windows 11, I would work my way from bottom to top as listed on that site, starting with Visual C++ 2005, 32-bit first and subsequently 64-bit, and thereafter each consecutive Visual C++ install i.e. 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2015 until the latest supported v14

3 little simple tricks I use sometimes. Try them one by one...
- in aircraft.cfg file, in the [electrical] section, change or add the line electric_always_available = 1
- load the default Cessna, start engine with CRTL E, then load your problematic aircraft
- if this doesn't work, disable in panel.cfg lines with gauge name like 'system' with size 1,1,1,1 (or similar invisible gauge), generally in the VC panel section (may break things very badly, worth trying thou)
