Hey Dutchman... Joshua is pointing you in the right direction....if you want to use the JohnnouK terrains from ETO in you CFS3 installation....the ETO Assets folder is the place to be...first, there should only be one folder containing one file in your CFS3 Assets folder, what I did was copy the folder inside the Assests folder, the pasted that copy into a folder I added to the main CFS3 directory named BACKUP....I also have a BACKUP folder added in all my other expansions......and any time, I am going to cut, copy , or paste files or folders into or out of one ofthem...a backup copy of the folder or file being changed or replaced is put into the backup folder.... Two clicks of your mouse, copy & paste....and when you give a new addon a try, and your game wont start or crashes before you can even select a mission, every time you run it......the same two clicks in reverse order put back the last thing you changed....and I cant think of one single instance that that process did not restore my game to its last known good configuration and make it work again....so backup , backup, backup.......then copy all of the files and folders in your ETO Assets folder, and paste them into the CFS3 Assets folder..... lastly.... in the CFS3/Terrains folder delete these two files: terrdata.zx and scenery.zx be careful to delete the .ZX files, not the .ZIP files of the same name.... first time I was modding my scenery and terrain budgets....I 86'd the zip files...and discovered that it doesnt work nearly as well without them....as it does without the .ZX files.... the game will write new .zx files when it starts the next time...that should be all you need to do to put the JohnnouK scenery and terrains from ETO into CFS3....
