Joy stick question ?

Currently use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro stick and want to upgrade. Does anyone know of the VKB Gladiator Joystick? Hear it's pretty good quality and great for the price. I want a all in one unit and do not want separate rudder pedals or throttle. Is this a good buy or what should i look at ? My 3D Pro is starting to get loose and is making flying get harder after only a couple of years. Regards,Scott

I have one and I can thoroughly recommend it. It is so solid, you could murder someone with it :biggrin-new:. Haven't found any issues or incompatibilities with and it is waaay cheaper than a comparable Warthog.

Only downside is the throttle lever and only because I do not like the placement. Stretching across with the left hand to operate it. I have a separate throttle anyway (Saitek throttle quad an occasional use of the throttle part of my old X52). It is a right handed stick but not too much of an issue to use left hand with it, I tried.

I have had mine almost 2 years with no problems to report.

I have it seems colluded with the Russians. :biggrin-new:

Thanks for the info. Will get one next week. Have my 3D Pro calibrated correctly and it still works but is sloppy and has to have a large dead zone. For the price the Gladiator seemed the best from the reviews i read. Can't wait to get my hands on one ! Cheers,Scott
