It was a birthday present and one of the last flights this year before the Ju rolled in the hangar for winter(-check).
Unforgettable impressions from vibrations and sound of the engines/power.
The crew were all pilots in normal Lufthansa Jets normally. Pilot & Co change after gusto. The Engineer on the Ju is a pilot normally as well.
Interesting is, a stewardess is needed as well - even when there was no service (but just for safety purpose).
since the Ju is single aisle and has just one seat on each side - EVERYONE has a window position.
The flight engineer took a seat in the back during flight so EVERYONE could enter the cockpit for a moment - views like this are normally only availabe in flightsims today.
So my impression is finally: It is not a cheap flight, but worth every cent:
