If the D-day scenery is active you will know it, you will hear it before you see it. And you will see it even at night...Thanks for the D-Day scenery link - I see preset weather when loading Normandy but not sure what else is there?
For a change, everything worked as advertised: the C-47 manfully hauled the Waco to a fair altitude
then waggled its wings, and I was able to find the cable release (Above your head!) Wheels were disposed of, click-spot sort of just down from there.
We actually visited Normandy at the end of May, and this had a profound effect on me, I had not fully appreciated the scale of the 1944 operation. I have spent countless hours reading online, Youtube, even watched Saving Private Ryan again.
The mind simply boggles.
