• There seems to be an up tick in Political commentary in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site we know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religiours commentary out of the fourms.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politicion will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment amoung members. It is a poison to the community. We apprciate compliance with the rules.

If anyone's wondering what the little arrow icon in the top left corner is, it's to access the models many functions.

Regards,
Ian.

I hope there is an option for removing the arrow, as I like my screen clear

Hi Andy, you can right click and do a "close window" light you would with a normal popup window. It can then be called up again via Views>Instrument Panel

There will be. I don't know if I can say 100% that it will be in the release of the Canberra next Wednesday, but we certainly have one and will be putting it out there ASAP.

So much looking forward to the release date. I have just one small question why did this aircraft have a yoke control instead of a joystick or was this normal form of control for such a large jet?

I don't know for sure but I think it's a hangover from it's original BI, BII bomber days. Remember, it was the among first generation of bomber aircraft post-WWII. In fact, it was the replacement for the Mosquito.

I'm not normally one for jets, but have pre-ordered this on the very good advice of a Jet Provost and Hunter flying friend! :)

Cheers,

Martin
