Sure thing Tim. The shot in question is of the test Super Connie. We just use one texture across a number of models when testing, to ensure that a paintkit will function on more than one version. D-ALEM actually belongs to a shortnose L1049 operated by Lufthansa. Hence the confusion!

There will be a small fee for the Constellation add-on packs. Don't think it's been decided how much yet, although likely to be around £7/8.

Bravo, those late models look superb and a whole lot of re-paint possibilities.

WOW , the most lovely thing is , Well the Weapon is running ( MY PC) , .. the Connie , the cost , been there ... done that.. on previous promised Connie , money is nothing to one special , superb and finally the answer to a long lost ... the screens ... , i know you guys would be board ,very board off her , but the internals on one ... modeled not for me but for i think many and one , Donald Harris , the most open Lockheed Constellation flyer been , mate .. I will buy this one model for you .

And if Baz and AH wont get your number , your most remembered , I am very sure i can do it , if not the best artist will pick her up .

Upgrade packs ... package em all i'll have all four , wink nudge , only joking , the two upgrades , but maybe future packages the Starliner as one and the Experimentals , these the engine mod's , not the many variants the USN and USAF did

But anyway

Ill certainly be looking forward to already mentioned 'Phoenix' , i many photos of both the VX6 aircraft in books authored by Tony Phillips

I will be picking these up soon, and the upgrades are definetly a must have. This connie is the difference between does connies for fs98 and John Whites connie for fs9. This is going to be fun again. Can't wait. As soon as you get some paints, remember, there are alot of Connie fans left out here that would want them, so don't hold back. Your paints for the old scfa connies were great, so I am "expecting" even better! "Mom says thanks"!!!

Question folks. Are any tooltips showing up for any of the switches, buttons, etc. Sure would be helpful at times.

The documentation mentions tooltips twice, once for uncaging the pitch adjustment in autopilot and another time for setting and showing the standard pressure on the altimeter. These don't seem to work for me. Perhaps the designers did not follow the design specs, and the documention writer used the specs to prepare the docs.

Don't know why, but those tool tips that did not show on earlier flights are now showing. They are of much help when showing numerical info and identifying buttons, switches, etc. Sorry to cry wolf, however no one seemed to correct my erroneous observation.

Inserting the shockwave tweak (above) before the exhaust effects disables the number one engine flame effects while providing the shockwave landing lights. Of course those flame effects are only visible on start up and while at high throttle.

I also tried giving the tweak a lights number of 19 and inserting that after the light.19 entry, but that did not work.

The interesting thing I noticed was that the wing, tail and other external lights are ON only at high throttle and go off when the flames go off. This happens both with and WITHOUT the shockwave tweak. Same thing with the engine smoke.:isadizzy:

I don't know enough of the coding to explain why this happens, but there it is as I observed it.
