'Just Letting You Know That...'

Update:
Tallil (Ali) & Balad work fine but there are issues in both FS2004 & FSX with Kirkuk....:cost1:

Ewww, Panther, please, get those entirely inaccurate banana-shaped, afterburning, engines out of that A-6. :banghead::banghead::censored::d

Nice shots of the scenery, though. :)

Looks like it needs a Flatten/Exclude autogen to clear the scrub off the apron, but that's not hard.

Actually,
Although a bit exaggaerated in some places.....I find it quite realistic as I remember brush growing in spots on the tarmac in places that I was deployed to...:mixedsmi:

Dang it! Keep it down! I'm trying to sleep! :costumes: I live about 400 yards from the runway at Balad, and the F-16's taking off full afterburner day and night gets irritating sometimes. :censored: I'm no fan of the dust, but sometimes a snowday is nice just to get some quiet around here.

Good find. Thanks for pointing this out. I picked up some serious casualties in MCD's Iraq, and flew them all the way to Balad, since we've got the nice hospital here, only to find out FSX Balad is nothing more than two runways in the middle of the desert. I downloaded and am trying to learn ADE, but this saves me the trouble. Thanks!

Hey Chinook,
Keep your head down.....

I never made it to Balad but I spent some time at Tallil (before it was re-named to Ali...)

That's really funny ... I was wondering where Ali was, because we still call it Tallil.
