• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Just plain SICK.....

I don't know; as with many Comment sections on Media sites the Comments posted are worse than the actual story is!

:isadizzy:

Near as I can tell, people who can connect two thoughts together aren't interested in posting comments, so what we get is the dregs.
Not worth reading at best; and downright wierd most of the time.

Sigh. We live in "interesting times"

Our society is littered with SICKO's but I think we are more aware of them now as opposed to pre-internet days. The state of instant communication globally is sometimes good but sometimes not. Constant bombardment of bad or sick news stories can really effect the way people perceive the state of life in general nowadays. It can be rather depressing at times. Just my personal observation here........:icon_eek:

Excellent points, Aircav. This constant barrage of the worst the world has to offer absolutely will affect our quality of life. Coincidentally, I had occasion today to note two really good characteristics and acts of kindness by two different people. In thinking about what I saw, I felt pretty good about people. . .for a while.

Just once I'd like to see a news segment dedicated to good, positive stories. I'd bet it's viewership would skyrocket, probably to the complete surprise of their news producers.
