Malones airport (OMC), This is a Fictitious GA airport located on peninsula on Lake Malones in the foot hills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, just west of Columbia Airport. It has a 1060ft Grass runway, a water start next to the seaplane dock and, a Helipad. Did this for my self but thought I would share. I like to have alot of small airports close together to land and take off, it keeps thing fun just hopping fome one to the other, Hope you like it?

Yep, you've got a great imagination Marvin. I really enjoy how you populate your airports. . .lot's of things going on here and there. Well done!!:salute:

Thanks guys, just wish we had a better variety of people to place, would make my own but modeling is way over my head, hehe

Excellent Field and layout. I'll deploy the Buffalo Beer Wagon:jump: as soon as she shows in the DL area.

Down loading now. Great work and a compliment to O22 (Columbia). Been to the real New Melones Lake many times and although this is fictional, it will bring back memories.

Thanks again for your work and dedication.

BTW, Marvin has a nice O22 that he did that also a very worthwhile download.

sorry to ask a stupid question..but where is this uploaded to?..and where can i fing 022?....got to have the airtanker base....there is a bridge over new malones on perrotts ferry rd that sags in the middle..and when you meet a logging truck in the center it groans and moves side to side...scares the bejesus out of me....i have very few fears..but falling from heights and a colapsing bridge are two of them

Both are in FSX other here and at flightsim.com,the bridge that you referring to is the new parrots ferry bridge and yes it does sag, they built the bridge when they built the dam. there is the old parrots ferry bridge about two hundred feet under the new one, use to swim there when I way a kid, great place. when they were filling the lake some tree hugger chained him self to to it to stop the filling, didn't work, OMG where's the key, where's the key.hehe

Great looking scenery, but can,t figure out why the runway is floating about 500 ft above the buildings.I have GEX but not UT.No other addon airports do this, and it has me stumped.

This is what I get in the sim, the run way is right on top of the airport landclass, had to do some height adjusting to get it to line up just right. seems that ADE and FSX, have problems with scenery's around water for some people, I have no idea what is going on with the runway for you. Sorry???

Here are a few from a quick orientation flight I just took to see the scenery first hand. . .nice job Marvin.:salute:

Ed have you had any scenery object shift when using EZscenery, seems that if I bury any object in the ground or in another object, and or rescale it I get some object shift, Seems to be with animated objects???

I had a similar problem once when I was doing Fort Langley. I was using a dock object to make a water ramp so I was tilting it to look the way I wanted. . .it looked fine while I was doing it, but I closed everything out, restarted FSX and when I went to the airport, the ramp was back straight and level and sitting above the water. I was told that items (objects) specific to FSX can be manipulated, but if it's a carry-over from FS9 you can't do anything but place it and leave it.

What you're seeing may be a product of that, it's the only thing that comes to mind.:salute:

Er, I think I messed it up...

I must have installed something wrong, because this is what it looks like...........
