Justflight Hurricane pictures

I don’t know if this has been covered in the previous post about the forthcoming Justflight Spitfire, but there are some absolutely stunning pictures of the Hurricane that Aeroplane Heaven are developing for them:

Personally I feel a good quality Hurricane is of more interest than another Spitfire, although I’m sure I will also buy an early mark Spitfire.
Perhaps Bazzer can tell use if Justflight intend to release the Spitfire, Hurricane and Me109 as a boxed set as they do with some of their products? That would be very nice.

Timing on the Hurricane and the Spitfire is very close, trust me.

I can't tell you much but I would have thought that a set of the three in this 70th Anniversary year would be a logical thing to release.

Thanks for that information Bazzer. Justflight have a terrible habit of releasing aircraft individually then releasing them as a “package” later on, as with the Flying Club series.

The problem with that system is if you have bought one or more of the aircraft buying the package becomes pointless because you would end up buying some of the aircraft twice!

I hope they address this problem, or offer a discount to people who have already bought any of the aircraft that the package that the package contains.

That looks great. Have to ask though, what the heck is a bobbin? There's a big sign in there that says you have to check it before take off... :icon_lol:
 
I'll take the Hurricane over the Spitfire (or the Bf109) anyday. Luv that bird.

And especially luv the silver prototype version. That's HOT!
 
Looks fantastically polished, this and the Spitfire are as good as sold for me :jump:

If you get up close to the canopy rail, you will see that there is a wire running over a pulley and disappearing inside the hollow rail (yes we have modeled it) further along where the arrows point is a connector or "bobbin" I believe this is part of the canopy jettison system (the bobbin would part company with the forward part of the wire )and obviously a fault up there could create problems especially if you were in a hurry!(SIC)

Hi Ian,

At some point the three aircraft will be made available in one package. More details are due on this shortly.

This may not be the same thing, but on the F-16 Egress system, the canopy has two cables attached to it that run along a track and end at a "bobbin" type apparatus attached the aft seat rails. When the pilot pulls the "D" ring, the canopy is fired and the cable is stretched to it's limit at which point it fires two initiators which continue the ejection sequence firing the Rocket Catapult and the Vernier Rocket under the seat.

Sounds very much like the same type of system.
