Kawanishi E7K1 and K2 recon float plane for CFS2

Shessi

SOH-CM-2025
Hi Folks,
I've been working for some time on how to get IL-2 Sturmovik flight sim models into Fs9 and CFS2. Finally worked out how, a lot of processes and tweaks etc involved, BUT all worth it as we now have that library source of ac.

Here is the first, a couple of Alf's (which we haven't got in CFS2). One inline engine and a later radial version, loads of texs, with payloads etc. Made them multi-LOD (but these worked mostly on their own) etc.

Cheers

Shessi

Maskrider et al,

These are going to be a little delayed until Shessi can upload a new set. He said that he uploaded a first set that had something wrong with it, but he wasn't specific, and then said that he "caught himself" and uploaded a second set. However, they all looked identical in the download queue and I couldn't figure out which was which, so I scrapped them and asked him to upload a new set, which I'm sure he'll do within 24 hours.

In the meantime, enjoy the pictures.

Ah hah, that explains it. Thanks for the heads up Rami!

At first I was thinking that there must be 4 different versions (for some reason I was thinking that) but then, when I tried to download the 3rd and 4th versions, I got one of those "file already exists..." messages.

Previous downloads deleted.

Standing by. Milling about smartly.

Sorry for the hiccup folks, uploaded, and as I did I then noticed something....agggggggghhhhhh!!! So uploaded again and asked Rami to remove the first lot, which got confusing (my fault, but Rami is easily confused...;)). Anyhoo, just uploading for your delectation..

Cheers

Shessi

Mark,

Before I approve these:

Cheers gents!

Glad you like them.

SPman, see what you're saying, the poor little SF wouldn't have stood chance against these.

And a big thank you to the guys at SAS1946 for the original models and texs, see readme, as they wouldn't be here without them.

And lots of choices from there to come....mmmmwwwaaahhhaaa!!......:devilish:

As a avid fan of IL-2 '46 i know a lot about SAS1946. A great website and great people. Been there for years. Glad they could help. I try telling others there about CFS2 and CFS3 but they are pretty biased. Anyway, there is always room for more combat flight sims in my view. Glad i came back to CFS2. Very interested in the PTO and it covers it well. Very nice aircraft and will be fun to fly. Thank you Sir. Regards,Scott
