Kawanishi J3K1/J6K1 Jinpu

I'm reposting my previous response ... with some additions.

No one has built this aircraft ...sure wish someone would ... I love those not-quite-yet-ready-for-prime-time-players that time just ran out on.

Great example of another "might have been".

It might be a Kawanishi design but it looks to me like an upscaled Zero.
Good lookin' plane, would like to see it in CFS2.
I've always wondered what the Japanese could have put into the air if they'd had an additional year's time before the B-29 raids started.

You know what they say . . .

If you can't find one, then you have to build it yourself. That is why I learned to make CFS2 aircraft in the first place . . .

BIZ ... God love ya! I'm still trying to read and understand what they're trying to tell me in the FSDS2 instructions ... but I'm NOT giving up! Just praying for guidance!

I wouldn't mind some guidance either! I have FSDS2 and I have tried tinkering with it, without much result...:kilroy:

Bismarck, if you put that plane together just since this thread was started you're really good!
I have got to try my hand at making a plane one of these days. I tried FSDSv1 some years back and it took me all day just to make a DF loop. :banghead:

Actually . .

I used the 3-view posted here to make it. I think I started on it two days ago. Anyway, there is no interior, no VC and no LODs, but it is a flying model . . . .

It took a lot of practice to do it that fast. For anyone that is starting out, I would pick a small aircraft to make. Also, it would be easier to make onethat has less animations, maybe a jet with fixed landing gear and an open cockpit :engel016:

hmmmm

Isn't the C5Y the same as a KI-15? I was sure someone made that one . . .

Very doubtfull I will do any Biplanes any time soon. But if there is no KI-15/C5Y I might consider it in a month or so . . .

Peperez ... If they are not available any more... Is it legal to upload them for the simmers of SOH...?
Obrigado-thanks

The Beyond 1945 Team decided against liberate them as freeware to respect those who bought the product. But they are old planes (lovely old planes, must I say) made with few pollys. Only one was released as freeware, the ki83, and I love it. I tried to buy them but the Aerosim site didn't accept my credicard. Using images to make a judgement, I think they still deserve a place at CFS2. My prefered one is the Ki64 Rob. I'm still looking for a sample to buy at Japanese sites without success.

Cheers

Pepe

PS: I bet Bismarck one will be a fantastic model...

yes and no

There is a Ki-15 with early engine, but the late Ki-15 or C5M has a different cowl. The one I say is the Ki.15 II. Look at these models:
http://www.daveswarbirds.com/Nippon/art/Babs_art.htm

The first is the late model, as used by fighters kokutais as navigation guides.

Hello.
to realize an aircraft is not "a piece of cake" but it could be an idea to make more interesting the passion to CFS2.
but i do not know what it is needed to became a designer.:kilroy:
