Kawasaki Ki.48-I Lily v.2

Kawasaki Ki.48-I Lily v.2 2025-08-17

Hello Capt.! Thanks for the new Lily, as Hiede said, I had to jigger the aircraft.cfg file because it had KI21_Sally everywhere. I also noticed that the point of view for the VC needs to also be tweaked. From what I'm seeing, I'm leaning out of the cockpit to get a better view for taxiing?

Hiede is right. Hiede, thank you for correcting me, I appreciate it.

I don't have a clue how I managed to F that up. I used the Sally cfg as a starting point to develop the Lily cfg file, but it's fully replaced with the correct file in my testing setup - which is what I package the upload from.

Okay, I guess I really am getting senile. But in the meantime, for those who have already downloaded the Lily, here is the correct cfg file while I am fixing the download files.

update: the download is now fixed for those who haven't downloaded it yet.

Captain Kurt,

I have your back, not to worry.Everyone makes mistakes and you have been making new aircraft a lot lately,so I can understand the mistake.

We use a lot of your planes in missions and campaigns. You've brought new life to the sim and it is appreciated.

This Lily will be used in the new AVG campaign.

Hiede

Capt. is it "Extend/Retract Spoilers/Airbrake" assigment, isn't it? It is not working......
The key is effective for other aircrafts.
Any clue???
That's the right key command but it's the same problem as the cfg file. I packed up the next to last development file - right model but unfinished air files. Sorry folks.

Here is the final, correct ki.48.air file for those who have downloaded the Lily, while I go fix the resource file.

Capt. Does your Lily have a bomb bay with opening doors? When I'm on the ground and try to open them, I don't see them open.

Howdy Capt. Just to let you know, the updated Lily you posted has the problem where the bomb bay doors won't open. Now the air file that you posted above in this thread does the trick.

I also noticed that the cockpit has two altimeters, but no airspeed indicators. Attached is a panel config where I replaced on of the altimeters with the Ki-44a!RLC_airspeed_type98 gauge that I took from your Sally. I have no idea if the gauge is in the correct place as I can't find a reliable image of a Ki-48 cockpit panel that I can understand.

If the Ki-45 panel from the Smithsonian is good example, then perhaps the airspeed indicator is in the correct place?

Well, expletive deleted !! This has been a whole comedy of errors. The software was giving me errors when I updated for a second time but it looked like it had completed the update.

I am deleting the whole download. I'm going to check every last thing in the package with a fine tooth comb and when I satisfied all is as it should be, I'll post it again probably tomorrow.

Stay tuned.
