Kazunori Ito's Newest : Heinkel HE-111Z Zwilling

claudius, I have no problems on take-off or landing with my contact points.

How did you get Terry's air and cfg files to work. I saved backups of my two and inserted Terry's. But the plane will not even load in FS9. I had to revert to my air and cfg files.

Here's a little video using my files. The sound file Ito included is fantastic.

Hi,

Nice video .. but you make a 3 points take off :)
BTW the retract of wheels is veeery fast .. LOL
When take off .. have the plane on the main gear (as in reality) with plane horizontal (as in my pic) and check what happend with the wheels.
But the plane will not even load in FS9
I have no probs with the modified CFG and air but be sure the names are good !
The air file must be He111Z.air and not HE111Z.air !! as in the download
the aircraft.cfg have this name

[fltsim.0]
title=He111Z Green Camouflage
sim=He111Z
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=THZL

And you will also able to make correct landing instead those high attack angle approach :)

If you want use the contact points for the bimot you must use this:

static_pitch = 9.3

Don't understand why those files would not work for you Caz. All I changed was to add (.TXT) so I could post them. Did you delete the period?
I added the other three wheels to the contacts so the smoke and tire marks would show on all six and moved the engine locations so that smoke would also show in the right place.

Terry I am sure the aircraft.cfg is fine as the aircraft shows up in the selection wimdow, but when I select it and click okay, I get a CTD. Only using the default .AIR file can I get the aircraft to show up.

I don't have a clue, I checked them again and find no problem. Try starting up with the default Cessna then switch over.

With these tweaks this is a great add-on! Thanks Ito-san and Terry and Cazzie! (This means I got no problems with the files Terry posted.)

I found it works great as an AI also. So I donated it to the McMinnville museum where there is room for it and it can fly daily.

Me 323E-2 Gigant

Someone was wanting a Gigant to go with Ito's He-111Z? Seems like Ito-san has keen hearing!
