KC Flight Shop Republic RC-3 SeaBee Now Released! (Payware)

"and one more paint coming your way (uploading as I type):"

And where are y'all uploading these wee beauties?

Love the airplane thanks for the great job. Now were are all these repaints for it that I see posted??
Also how do u turn on the the vc lights, I can't get them to come on the rest seem to be ok.

There is a row of switches under the yoke. You may need to hide the left yoke by clicking the center section of the yoke (not the knob) in order to see the switch. There are two switches. The cabin lite and the dash light. The dash light has both Dim and Bright settings. Hope this helps!

I'm running Norton 360. It does the same thing the others do. This works in 360: create a folder someplace. mine is downloads\flight1. Then set the AV software to not scan that folder. do the purchase and download. Then turn off the AV software long enough to install. That opens the machine up for a much shorter period of time. I've done that with a few things. I don't like it, but that's life. You do what you have to do.

Glenn

Good tips Glenn. Most AV software have a function to disable the scanning for a short time. Typically you can right-click on the AV icon in your task tray, and find some type of "disable" feature. I use Microsoft Security Essentials myself and it did not give me the false positive.

After all the new planes I bought over the holidays, I was going to wait a few months on this one. Darn glad I didn't. It is great, really fun to fly. And it's looks are fantastic.
One very small nit to pick. The 2D MINIPANEL shows up really huge, the gauges overfill the display. I sometimes use this panel, so I resized it to fit. Try these numbers if you have this very small problem:

[Window01]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=405,60
position=7
visible=1
ident=MINIPANEL
child_3d=1
no_luminous=1

gauge00=Cessna172!Airspeed, 10,0,60,58
gauge01=Cessna!Turn_Indicator, 75,0,60,58
gauge02=CessnaWAlpha!Attitude_Alpha, 140,0,60,58
gauge03=Cessna!Heading_Indicator, 205,0,60,58
gauge04=Cessna!Altimeter, 335,0,60,58
gauge05=Cessna!Vertical_Speed, 270,0,60,58

Well worth the bucks to have this floater.

Thank you for the feedback on the 2D panel! I think its one of those things that didnt get tested well, as not a lot of people still use the 2D panel, but im glad to have your feedback. I will look into this and maybe put it in a patch later on.

ok found the switches and no lights working whether dim or bright and the the domelight ether way, on or off.

It's probably nothing you would think about since the MINIPANEL in no way reflects the actual gauges in the Seabee. I use it to cheat so I can fly this plane at night....need the attitude indicator.

Thats very odd. Make sure the main battery switch is IN. Its below the yoke center.

yes it is on and still no lights, at least I say no lights turning the switches on or off produces no change in the panel. I see in the A/c cfg that all the lights in the light section are commented out, is that right?

Same issue, no panel lights or dome light illumination. The dome light looks on but the light does not brighten the cabin. The commented out Lights section in the cfg has co-ordinates that are way off compared to the view point co-ordinates, so if the modelled lighting has these co-ordinates then maybe that's the problem? Otherwise great aircraft...put in 3 or 4 hours today over PNW:applause:

Ok, I "uncommented" the light section and here's the results (for me at least). . . .in order from left to right:
Dome light off, Dome light on, instruments Dim, Instruments Bright.
I also checked the Anchor light and all other external lights and they were fine. The only set that's questionable is the Instrument lighting, Dim seems to be brighter than the bright setting, lol.

Here is another Seabee paint that I hope you'll enjoy!
