KCFS Republic Seabee update thread.

Ya, its a little late. We are wrapping up beta this comming week I think. Work is being done on the custom installer and F1 wrapper this weekend, with that getting tested next week. If all goes well, then the release is not that far away! We have a lot of nice features going into the Seabee so things slowed down more then we expected, plus the holidays.

Some of the livery's that Jankees and OleBoy have done are great, and I am really looking forward to seeing it in the screenshot thread ;)

She's prepping for takeoff!

I havent given out any new screenshots, so just thought this would be nice. She looks really pritty in the snow.

Taken with OrbX 3W5 Concrete. Ironically, this is were I met the pilot of this Seabee in the summer when I was doing research on the Seabee. It comes full circle!

Good timing. Beta 4 JUST hit the testers. Im hoping Beta 4 is for the most part "content complete" meaning the artwork is done. Its still missing a pilot and the installer needs more work, but its getting there! Things are slow because we had to come up with our own installer and also do some DLL work to link the installer in with the F1 wrapper. That should go into testing next week.

I really hope to get this thing out soon, but its been one thing after another. Going with our own installer over the FSD installer really put us behind with the Seabee. Im not going to make any release predictions since none of my past ones came true. All I can say is "when its done" =)
 
I know that this will be ready when it's ready, but I was just wondering if there are any new screenshots or updates on how this project is progressing. Got anything to tide us over?
 
We are very close. Most of the bugs are fixed and the artwork done. We even have the pilot in and the manual all finished. All thats left is the installer. I will be shooting some promotional material for marketing this week, so keep your eyes peeled.

Just amazing Kevin. The level of detail is something I've not seen in any other model except possibly the Aerosoft OV-10. You can just smell the leather interior, lol. Beautiful job. . . .congrats!!:applause:
