KCFS Seabee takes too the FSX skies!!!!

I have a feeling this is going to be a darling of many a post in the screenshot thread, and rightly so.

I really hope so! =) I hear a cash register sound every time a screen shot is posted ;)

Hit im really proud to see my aircraft in people screenshots, and not for the money. I love seeing the FSD P-38 being enjoyed by the people who paid for it, even though I dont get a dime from it!!!

and now back to work, because I look really forward to this Seabee

Jankees,
What scenery is that? It looks Orbx, but I think I have all of the NA stuff, so I'm guessing that's an Oz airport? I have some, but not all of those. I really enjoy that first pic.

Funny that... I don't actually get a dime either...

OrbX I think is the BEST way to experience my aircraft. The SportStar has some of the best visibility of any aircraft, so it makes exploring scenery a LOT of fun. You see so much more!!! I have been flying the Seabee and while it does not have as good a visibility, its a LOT better then most aircraft. I tried flying the Goose a bit to get a feeling for water operations, and it was HARD doing a turn around Concrete 3W5 due to visibility (Concrete is located between two mountians). Really hard to enjoy your scenery in that thing.

Just an update. The cockpit is getting work done this week. Currently setting the UVW mapping and will soon start to texture it. The cockpit will get a full detail texture using Vray, an amazing rendering package that helps re-create things like HDRI, Ambient Oclusion, Light bounce and so much more. Its going to look amazing, I promis you that! Expect screenshots of it next week.

You really just do not know how eager I am to sticky your release announcement.. I don't know what it flies like, but if the work you've done is an indication of the over all quality of the aircraft, it's definitely one of the best over all so far..

Couldn't agree more Pam.

Probably looking forward to this little baby more than anything for a while.

EDIT: Didn't someone else talk of releasing one of these a little while ago?

Been trolling the forum for years, never heard of another. I know there is one for XP, but its not very good.

It's my own work, using PNW and ants objects for my own use. Most is payware stuff, Sorry, I don't upload any of my work any more, to many slamming it and calling it unreal sh&$t, so I don't upload it no more. Its to bad to, because I have done some really cool little airports around Orka island, Oh well!!!

To each there own. Some people like ultra-realism, and some just want to have fun. Me, im the latter! I also have PNW and also 3W5 Concrete and love to just explore. BTW, I live in Seattle, so I know the area really well. I even ride my motorcycle to Kenmore to check out the Beavers.

Just wanted to post a quick update. The cockpit modeling is finished along with UVW mapping (the HARD part). I did a GI (Global Illumination) pass last night and slapped everything in-game and took her for a spin!

The GI pass really helps bring details out. You can also see in this that im keeping the pixel density very high on this to make sure the textures are nice and crisp. I will be doing the texture work this week, so keep checking this thread for more updates!
