Good Morning PJ;
Just a shot in the dark here, but a NEAT project for you that might turn into a great upload package when you're done.
The WAV files that affect screen button clicks are located in the main UIRES file of each install.
You can test each of these by clicking the file name in Windows Explorer; it will play the file sound with whatever WAV file player you have installed. Then you can SUBSTITUTE a "Wife-Approved" sound by saving the old file to another location [I use a new ORIGINAL file in the same folder] and re-naming a new file to the old file name.
Once you have a set of files that replaces the stock Harsh button clicks with the sounds of Butterfly farts and bunny fur rustling [LOL !] upload it here for the rest of us to enjoy !
[FWIW - my Jack Russels REALLY hate the loud clicks, and I have to mute the sim before using the buttons....]
