Key West, Cuba and Cancun (lots of screenshots)

SOH-CM-2025
With this sim I've been doing a lot of point A to point B flying. Here is a flight I decided to try from Key West, Florida to Cancun, Mexico. I did it as a VOR-to-VOR flight, which had me vectored to José Martí International Airport in Cuba, then near to Rafael Cabrera Airport, Cuba, and on to Cancun. Flying in real time and real weather, I basically flew around the backside perimeter of Hurricane Laura currently over the Gulf. It was fairly windy, so the waves were nice and choppy. I didn't encounter any rain until it was after dark and near Cancun and it came and went in heavy spurts.

Hope you enjoy the journey!

Approaching the coast of Cuba:

Heading to the VOR near Rafael Cabrera Airport, Cuba, but decided to land there for a bite to eat and to stretch the legs (and not figuratively).

Taking off again a half an hour later:

Close to the last hour of the flight was pitch black, so I didn't take any screenshots again until this one, when I was in the pattern for Cancun Intl.

Thank you XLR8! It was a fun trip, and with great visuals of the sky at the sun was setting through the clouds. I may have to plan my next flight now from Cancun and head somewhere else.

I wish the guy who was making those liveries could have been a little more careful with how he applied the paints. All I could see was a big mess that told me nothing of how things were laid out..

Great screen shots. Unbelievable that they come from a flight simulator.

@DVJ
Be safe, and don't get too close to those hurricanes.
