I have to hold the stick back to keep the nose up on this A/C. I tried calibrating the joystick and it still wants to dive when I centralize the stick.
The P-40C and other A/C fly just fine. What am I missing?

If you have the AIREDIT program, open the air file, under section 1101 Primary Aerodynamics, look for these two entries:

*Pitch Moment Coeff at AoA=0 (CoG offset) *2048 = ______ a positive value will cause the ac nose to pitch up at 0 deg angle of attack

*Pitch Moment due to Elevator *2048= -______ a smaller negative value will increase the elevator effectiveness and let you pull higher g's. If the original number is -1000, change it to -1200 or smaller.


Play with these two numbers, if you can't get it to trim up, then stop. Most designer will have the aircraft set up with a reasonable setting.
